The Brookwood Community is looking for a Work Program Transition Assistant. This position transports Citizens around campus; assists with toileting, hygiene, and any other Citizen transportation needs. During open time, they support the Work Program Supervisors in their efforts to teach and stimulate functionally disabled adults to learn and develop artistic and manual skills. This position assists Citizens in their daily work routines, personal hygiene needs, mealtime activities, behavioral interventions, and to utilize TEACCH and best practices whenever possible in the workshop environment. This position also assists with daily Tram Duty. They will assist in helping to create a positive work environment that enhances the Citizens’ sense of independence and self-worth while adhering to Brookwood’s Policies and Procedures and Core Values.
