The Brookwood Community Center for Learning and Gallery Furniture proudly presents Dr. Temple Grandin for a Presentation and Book Signing!
Join us Thursday, December 14 at The Brookwood Community located in Brookshire, Texas.
Dr. Temple Grandin, celebrated scientist, bestselling author, and animal welfare advocate will be at The Brookwood Community for a presentation and signing of her book, Visual Thinking: The Hidden Gifts of People Who Think in Pictures.
Dr. Grandin has been named one of the 100 Most Influential people in the world by Time Magazine, is the author of multiple books on the New York Times’ Bestseller List, has been featured on television programs such as 20/20 and Prime Time, and an HBO movie, Temple Grandin, was made about her remarkable life. A Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, Dr. Grandin was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2017 and in 2022 was named a Colorado State University Distinguished Professor.
