Genuine Fellowship
Citizen Home Parents provide a wholesome and joy-filled environment where all live, work, worship, and thrive together. These homes create a sense of supervised independence, promote genuine fellowship, and create lasting friendships. Many of our Home Parents have children who are an integral part of the Citizen’s home.
CITIZEN HOME PARENTS
Our unique approach is facilitated by Home Parents who encourage interdependence between all who live in the home. Direct Support Professionals help the Home Parents manage all aspects of a Citizen’s life in the home and in the Community.
ENVIRONMENT
Most of the Citizen homes accommodate 10-12 men or women, while the Inn, a dormitory style residence, is a co-ed home with a night monitor for up to 33 Citizens. Our homes foster a wholesome living environment that allows each person to live interdependently with one another, and all become contributing members in their home.
We have posted the following notice in compliance with Texas Health and Human Services rule #PL 2021-22 that states, “A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints.
