The Brookwood Community is an internationally recognized, private, not-for-profit community for adults with disabilities. We are a God-Centered organization enriching the lives of our Citizens by meeting their occupational, social, recreational, and spiritual needs. Brookwood is looking for a Chief Programs Officer to direct and oversee the Citizen Life programs. The Citizen Life programs include Residential, Medical, Spiritual, Work Program, Admissions and Community Activities. The Chief Programs Officer will articulate and implement the strategic vision and leadership of the Community. It is key that this person develops positive and trusting relationships with our Citizens, parents, donors, and Community Members to ensure that a strong communication network is in place. This person will develop partnerships with outside organizations to promote Brookwood. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field. A Master’s is preferred. Along with a degree, applicant must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience supervising a staff of 10 + people. Must have strong communication and analytical skills combined with managerial knowledge of finance, and general business management recommended. A background working with adults with disabilities is an advantage.
