The Brookwood Community is seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time position of Grants and Communications Manager. This position will secure funding from current and potential foundations and organizations and write grant proposals, fundraising appeals, and letters to seek support and communicate Brookwood’s mission and vision. This position promotes stewardship through grant reports and gift acknowledgements and manages and produces content for external communications for Brookwood’s website, social media, newsletter, brochures, and promotional materials. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a major in English, Journalism or Public Relations, or related field is preferred; and four years’ experience related to grant management and communications, preferably with a not-for-profit organization. An equivalent combination of education and writing experience will be considered.
