Special Events Manager

The Brookwood Community is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Special Events Manager.  Brookwood is a residential and day program for adults with disabilities located in Brookshire, Texas, and is well-known and respected for its innovative programs to enhance the lives of persons with special needs.  The Special Events Manager will work closely with Brookwood leadership to plan and execute fundraising and stewardship events to raise funds and promote the mission to diverse audiences locally, as well as nationally.

​​This position reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for two major fundraising events each year (Fall fundraiser that includes peer-to-peer/crowdfunding and annual Spring luncheon /Dinner fundraising event), plus coordination of cultivation and stewardship events.  Knowledge of Raisers Edge and online fundraising platforms is preferred.
