Brookwood and Beyond: Expanding the Vision - Transforming Lives

Brookwood and Beyond

The Brookwood and Beyond Capital Campaign expands our vision and makes a bold commitment to transform lives and enhance the futures of hundreds of thousands of individuals with neurological, cognitive and motor impairments, as well as the their families and communities throughout the nation and the world.

This is Brookwood’s eighth capital campaign and the most ambitious in our history. The planning and initial fundraising began in 2012. Over $22 million has been given or toward our $34 million goal. The campaign will fund facilities for more Citizens to participate in our vocational, residential, education and recreational programs, and expand our outreach program through our Center for Learning.

Challenge Grant

In July 2017, the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Oklahoma, issued a challenge grant toward the construction of the Center for Enterprise and Education, the centerpiece of the campaign. The challenge grant requires Brookwood to raise $7 million by July 11, 2018 to receive a $2 million donation.
