The Brookwood Community's Annual Fund Campaign
Since Brookwood accepts no government funding of any kind, the community relies on the generosity of the private sector to help build and maintain our facilities and enterprises. All of our buildings, furnishings, equipment, and vehicles have been donated. Individuals, foundations, corporations, civic groups, churches, and other groups help us meet our day-to-day operating needs. These gifts allow us to provide programs and projects that benefit the men and women who live and work at Brookwood.

Your contribution makes a difference! Gifts to our general operating budget help support our program needs. If you would like to see our "wish list" or a list of specific project needs, please e-mail Joe Mazzu.

Matching Gifts
Does the company you work for offer matching gifts? You can often double the size of your gift with a matching gift from your employer. Most employers match gifts on a dollar-for-dollar basis, but some match 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1. Ask your employer for more details.

Click here to search a list of employers who match gifts. Please note that this list is not all-inclusive. We recommend you check with your employer to see if they will match gifts.

Donor Testimony
Our friends find that when giving to Brookwood, they receive much more in return. Here is a letter from one donor:

As you can see the enclosed check is a "donation" but I cannot help but to consider it an "investment". In light of the enrichment that my life has received from being part of Brookwood, I cannot see where I could allocate my resources to yield a better return. The "dividends" of joy and peace simply seem to be constantly growing. My emotional "portfolio" demands this kind of balance. Brookwood is truly a life enhancer. Thank you for letting me participate.
Flagstone asks for your help to support Brookwood
Flagstone Financial is a Houston based mortgage company who gives back to the community by donating part of their proceeds from each closing.

In 2007, Flagstone created a program to demonstrate that, "Small companies CAN do big things to make the world a better place". They are asking their clients, suppliers, friends, and family members to visit their website www.flagstonemortgage.com and make a $1.00 donation by clicking on the PayPal icon.

One hundred percent of the proceeds (less PayPal's fees) will be equally divided between The Brookwood Community and Houston Habitat for Humanity.
